Exciting News

Perhaps my 1st exciting news of the year!!  I’ve been selected as 1 of the featured bloggers for the inaugural GranFondo Niagara Falls!!  A road cycling race that starts & finishes at the majestic Niagara Falls, riding through Niagara-on-the-Lake & its wineries, and up the Niagara Escarpment!

With this role comes slight adjustments in my style.  Don’t worry, it’s still me!! 😀  In the past, I am more of an event blogger, focusing on memorable rides with photos to capture the moment.  Well, this is about to change.  Posts will become more scheduled, especially come Spring.  I will share my personal preparation for the race (quite frankly, for my entire 2013 season!!) – my training, eating, thoughts, & all the “nitty-gritty” leading up to the race.

Posting my winter training will be my biggest challenge since maintaining a visual blog is important to me.  How do I create a picturesque post when I’m spinning indoors or doing push-ups in my room …. well, I’ll be digging for my creativity hat!!  But hey, I’m up for this challenge!!  Don’t sweat it, once this frigid winter is over, I’m hitting the outdoors!!  Definitely photo moments there!

Another bonus, I don’t have to decide between Centurion Canada & GranFondo Niagara Falls (both races share the same weekend).  This made the decision for me! 😀 September 14th, 2013 – who’s coming? 😀
